Creating an Account
To create an account, navigate to the Winamp for Creators website.
You can choose to create an account with your Gmail or X account, or with your email address.
- Sign up with Email
If you choose to create an account with your email address, simply type yours in the email address field, then click Register.
You will receive an email in your Inbox, containing our Magic Link asking you to confirm your email.
Click on the Confirm your email button in the email message itself and you will be redirected back to Winamp for Creators to finish the creation of your account.
Fill in your details, including your full name and password and click Continue.
Et voila, you're in!
- Sign up with your X or Gmail account
To register using your X or Gmail accounts, simply click on the corresponding social media icon. You will be redirected to the social media network you've chosen where you should follow the instructions on screen.
Once you've finished the configuration on X or Gmail, you will be redirected back to Winamp for Creators where you'll need to finish the sign up process by filling, including your full name and password and click Continue.
Choosing your Account Type
As soon as you've created your account, you will be asked to choose the type of role that describes you best.
- Choose I am an artist if you are managing your own account and add your artist profile.
Fill in your artist name, country, ISNI number, and specify if you are already distributing your music to digital stores.
If applicable, add the link to your Spotify profile or any other music distribution services you use. This will come in handy once you start using Winamp for Creators.
Finally, click Continue.
- Choose I am a label if you represent multiple artists.
On the next screen, you will be asked to add the details for your label, including the label logo, label name and description. You can also add the number of artists you manage.
Finally, click Continue.
Choose your Subscription
To use access the full Winamp offer, you need to choose one of our monthly or yearly subscription plans. To choose a subscription plan, click on the Get started button under each subscription option.
Paid Subscription Plan
If you choose a paid subscription plan, you will be redirected to our check out screen, where you will need to enter your card details. Once you've paid, you will be redirected back to the Winamp for Creators website.
Free Subscription Plan
If you choose to proceed with the free plan, you will be redirected back to the Winamp for Creators website immediately. You can upgrade to a paid subscription plan at any time.
Identity Verification
Verifying your account is an the next and one of the most important steps of your journey with Winamp for Creators as without it, you will not be able to use our services. Our identity verification is done digitally in partnership with our partner Veriff.
To verify your account, navigate to the Admin section of your account. You can find the Admin button in the bottom left corner of your screen. In the Explore and Setup Creators, you will find your status verification box.
When you register for the first time, the status of your verification will be Unverified. To get Verified, click the Status unverified button.
In the pop-up screen, add your first, middle and last name. Make sure you are adding your full government name. Then click Get Verified.
To verify your account, you need your make sure to have a valid, physical copy of your Personal ID document ready, and your smartphone.
Follow Veriff's instructions on your screen. Once you're account has been Verified, your account verification status will be set to Verified.

Identity Verification Statuses
Status | Description | What to do |
Unverified | Indicates that your identity has yet to be verified. | Navigate to the Admin section of your account and start the Verification process. |
Verified | Indicates that your identity has been verified. | Great job! You're good to go. |
Verification Failed | Indicates that we've failed to verify your identity. | Please reach out to our Helpdesk via the Contact form on our website. |
Common Reasons for Failure
If you've failed your the Identity Verification process, make sure to read through these common user errors that might result in a failed identity verification:
- The first and last name added on Winamp for Creators does not match the name of the Personal ID document scanned via Veriff.
- The document scanned via Veriff is not a physical copy, but rather a digital one.
Logging in
When accessing Winamp for Creators, you will be asked to login. If you've already created an account, and you need to log back in, all you need to do is go to Winamp for Creators and click the For Creators button in the top right corner of the screen. You will be redirected to the Login form.
If you've already created an account with Gmail or X, use that same account to log in.
If you've created an account with your email address, type it into the email address field and click Log in. You will receive a Magic Link in your Inbox but if you prefer to log in with a password, you can do so as well by clicking the Login with a password button at the bottom of the login form.
