HOW DO I APPLY?

WHAT INFORMATION DO I NEED TO PROVIDE IN THE APPLICATION?

When filling out your application, be ready to share the following details:

• Artist or Project Name – The name you perform or release music under.
• Location and Contact Details – So we know where you’re based and how to reach you.
• Social Media Links and Website – If you have an online presence, this helps us get a sense of your work and community.
• A Short Description of Your Music Project – Tell us who you are, what inspires you, and what makes your music unique.
• Links to Your Music – Share your tracks from platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, or SoundCloud so we can hear your sound.
• Your Main Goals for 2026 – Let us know what you hope to achieve in the near future, whether that’s releasing an album, touring, or building your audience.
• A Short Plan for How You Would Use the €15,000 Funding – This could be anything from recording, producing, marketing, or developing your live show.

The more detail you can provide, the better we’ll understand your vision and how the program can support you.

WHAT 'S THE APPLICATION DEADLINE?

Applications are open until October 31. Once submissions close, our team will carefully review every application. After the selection process is complete, the three chosen artists will be contacted directly by the Winamp team with next steps.

WHO CAN APPLY?

We invite artists and music projects from all corners of the world to apply. Every genre is welcome. Whether you’re making beats, composing symphonies, writing indie anthems, or experimenting with new sounds, we would love to hear your music and learn more about your work.

A long track record isn’t required. What our jury values most is your original voice, creative ambition, and the strength of your ideas.

No, you don't, however, we encourage you to create a free account, test our tools and give us your feedback so that we can make Winamp for Creators the ideal tool for artists like you.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT IF I'M SELECTED?

As one of the three selected artists, you’ll receive much more than just funding. You’ll gain visibility across Winamp’s platforms and campaigns, with the support of the Winamp for Creators team to help amplify your music. You'll have the opportunity to do recording sessions at the iconic Lab of Tomorrow (an initiative by Tomorrowland) to work on your on your music.

Finally, you’ll  have access to powerful resources through Winamp, including:

• Music distribution to reach listeners worldwide.
• Copyright management & licensing tools to protect and further monetize your work.
• Content ID support to ensure you get credit where it’s due.
• Fanzone tools to connect directly with your fans.
• Marketing features designed to grow your audience.

WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS IF I'M SELECTED?

The program is structured to give you the best chance to grow your career in a focused, sustainable way. Here’s what that looks like:

• Funding for your project  – The €15,000 is intended to support your music, whether that’s recording, promotion, touring, or other professional needs. Personal or unrelated expenses can’t be covered.
• Invoices required – To receive your monthly €3,000 payments, you’ll need to provide invoices.
• Monthly updates – We’ll ask for a short check-in each month to see how your project is progressing and how the funding is being used.
• Sharing your journey – A few posts, videos, or even a short interview with Winamp will allow our community to follow your story, and hopefully inspire other artists along the way.

This way, the program remains centered on your growth and makes your experience visible to fans and fellow musicians.

​WHAT HAPPENS AFTER 5 MONTHS OF FUNDING?

While the funding lasts for five months, the program’s true goal is to help you build a foundation for long-term success.

As part of your application, you’ll outline how you plan to continue after the program,  through streaming, live performances, merchandise, licensing deals, or exclusive fan content. We want the investment to fuel not just short-term projects, but a sustainable path for your career.
